Foden Kit 20/19 and Roof Kit Payment

Isabel will be calling all customers within the next couple of days to ask for immediate cheque payment for Foden 4.5" kit 20/19 plus a seperate payment for the roof kit. This posting is to ensure that if she is unable to reach any one by telephone there is still a chance they will see it on the forum.

It is our intention to send whatever we can of kit 20/19 at the end of this week. This will include replacement eccentrics and the water pump. Once we know exactly what is being despatched we will create an invoice and Isabel will then let you know how much is due. At the same time Isabel will also be asking for cheque payment for the roof kit. Your cheque will ONLY be bank once the kit HAS been despatched and NOT before.

The despatch of the roof kit is tight and we are working round the clock to achieve a despatch target towards the end of next week (18th December). If we then wait the normal 7 days for payment, with the postal delays and Christmas/New Year bank holidays it will be well in to January before the funds will have cleared. This not only has a knock on to the cash flow it also means that in theory payment will not have been taken till January and as some people don't like to make two payments a month it means another kit/payment can not be despatched/taken until February.

Please help us to help you by paying promptly. Although the vast majority pay for the kits promptly we have had the odd problem with customers not paying their invoices on time and needing to be chased a minimum of two or three occasions. Your co-operation would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Foden Builders,

Following on from the above posting the balance due for Kit 20/19 will be £360.25.

The remainder of the wood for the roof should be in on Tuesday 16th December which we can then pack and despatch by the end of the same week for a pre Christmas delivery. The roof is being sent as a self assembly kit and the package includes the relevant jigs to make the assembly reasonably straight forward. As we are sending the roof as a kit it has enabled us to reduce the price form the original price quoted of £587.50 to £402.50. A seperate cheque for this amount would be appreciated when you send payment for kit 20/19.

Hi Everyone.

PLEASE NOTE:

Isabel has made an error and sent out the roof invoices INCORRECT. The amount due is as previously stated £402.50.

It is NOT £362.25 as per the invoice. It appears Isabel has added an additional 10% discount when the price we quoted previously already had the discount accounted for. New invoices will be issued accordingly.

Please accept our apologies for the error.
