after a bit of a stock take i can now announce that the next foden kit will be the ash-pan. we have enough of these in stock to be able to send these out in the next week or so with very little work needed.

we will also look at the arctic/SWB rear axle problem and provide a solution is necessary (did anyone else have trouble with this ??)

kit seven (steering and water tanks) is still in production, but due to the complex nature of the new tanks it will be going out next month.

the only other kit that we have sufficient stock of is the roof kit and we kinda guessed that you can't do much with that at this stage.

i hope this is acceptable to everyone as im sure you will agree, its best to get something rather than fall behind again.

fingers crossed that the boiler cradels turn up in tomorrow's delivery Cool

OK, first the good news... the boiler cradles finally arrive today, they went straight on the machine and are finished already cheers cheers ...

Next foden kit Bbb024-1

these will go out with the next kit. cheers

i spoke to Steve today and he feels that the planned ash-pan kit is not really of any use until you have the horn-plates

so, the other good news is... after checking stock, and a frantic search to find another LH horn plate, we can also get this kit ready with minimal work. we just need to machine some bearing housings and order some bearings Cool Cool

so the plan is to have both of these two kits ready for dispatch this month. they will come as two separate kits and you will be given the option to have one or both... plus the boiler cradle cheers cheers cheers

the small amount of work for the ash-pan kit is already done (a handfull of brackets, some spacers and a set of crate-bars)

this should mean you can get your boiler mounted in the chassis with the steering and water tank kit following soon
