2 inch burrell driving truck kit 2

yes we are still working on this but as you can see, it's quite a large kit.



but don't worry, as quite a lot of stuff has already been done, starting with the axles...





and part of the footrest assembly...



the foot rests are also nearly done.

this little lot will make up the leaf springs...



and we are steadily working out way through all the wood...









can you guess what these are ...



it's been a hectic week but hopefully this kit will also go out quite soon and then all the new kits will be back on track.

That wood looks like wood to me not Ash I thought wood turned to Ash when you burnt it??

with the DCC kit 2 out of the way im really hoping we can get this out very soon. could be end of the week but more than likely be early next week.

this kit should now be going out on Wednesday due to the springs needing to get back from heat treating.

the control model is going together fine and we just have a bit of countersinking to do, well 1600 holes actually

as said, the kit has gone. we did make one small mistake we only packed one draw bar anti snatch rod in each kit instead of two we only realised this as the kits were actually going out of the door. all kits that went out today are being followed by the other draw bar in a jiffy bag, in-fact you may get that first, so don't be surprised when you only get one part all other kits will be changed.

as you will see, it's quite a big kit, and don't forget we had to make a batch of 50, so that's why it took a bit of time.

probably around 35 stone on there and the springs don't bottom out...

As for me both "kits" came on the same van
But It has now gone on the shelf with the other kit as not done my engine yet..

All looks good and as for the ash LOVEY

it would seem that there has been a typo on the packing list for this kit

part W20240 reads "turntable top leaf spring". it should really read "front top leaf spring".

you will find these in a bag marked "leaf spring sets", with all the other leaf springs including the "rear leaf springs".

the front top leaf springs have both ends open, the rears have one end closed.

it would also seem that a couple of people have had some items missing. please check your kits and contact us now so we can send any missing parts out.
