New type of boiler level sensor
Sorry for the delay in posting the photos tried to do it from my smart phone but it didn't work too well. I had to post from my laptop.
Built an improved boiler level sensor. Using vertical sensors.
Also replaced all the globe 125 psi valves with 1000 psi SS ball valves and replaced the boiler ball check valves with 1000 psi SS mushroom check valves
see photos

Spark plug level sensor
I intend to use spark plugs set horizontally in the water gauge manifold screwed into the blanking plugs. What voltage is required to make a circuit in the boiler water to activate a warning light?

voltage
The system uses 12v DC. You have to have a circuit to drive the LEDS. Water will not pass enough current to lite the LED directly. Water has about 100k ohms resistance, which is too high of a resistance to pass the current for the LEDS.

spark plugs
When I first used spark plugs horz. they worked for a while, but in time they started to give false readings. I found a build up of minerals on the tips. You could clean them often to prevent this. At that time I decided to design a improved level monitoring system. It had to fit in the same area. The photos show the new version.
