Re: West Australian Build
Nigel, when you fit all the bits to your boiler you will be afflicted with that facial disorder commonly called "Boiler Grin".
Very difficult to get rid of and gets worse the first time in steam!

Re: West Australian Build
Yes, boiler has just arrived. I live in a very remote part of Australia so kits take a little longer to get here.

Re: West Australian Build
Hi all, progress certainly comes about once the boiler and a few other bits arrive. Good to get some final assembly under way. Pictures to come.

Re: West Australian Build
Hi Mark
Engine looks fantastic.
Just 1 observation, in your photo of the crank shaft you seem to have painted the inside edge part of the crank were the big end bearing fits.
As the clearances in this area are real tight this might cause a problem when the connecting rod turns up.
This is my 4 inch roller but the 2 inch aggy is similar its just half the size.
I dont suggest you rush to removing the paint until the big end arrives but worth remembering for when it does should it give a problem.

Re: West Australian Build
Hi all, i'm back in business. COVID put a halt to progress due to very slow deliveries. Kit 17 just arrived, took almost 3 months to get here but better late than never. Looking forward to getting back into it, will post some pics once i have something to show.
