Guess What Arrived Today?
Hi All,
Guess what arrived today?
Only a taster below but i will add some more detailed photo's when Steve buys me with a replacement camera after losing mine.
We will have the engine on show at Wellend this weekend, Pickering, Dorset and Bedford. Hopefully taking orders at the same time.

Very nice indeed Dean,
It'll be a bugger to drive thou what with the crane in the way! Unless you've got orangutan arms?
I wonder how this new investment will effect the spoke debate?
It's a lovely engine all the same and i'll look forward to seeing it at Bedford.

Re: Guess What Arrived Today?
Bungle,
As the end of the auction on Steve's track engine became ever closer, he was becoming more unbearable and miserable than normal .
I knew in reality deep down he didn't really want to part with it after so many years making it. On top of this was the sheer amount of complementary emails he was receiving since it was listed asking why?
I therefore made the decision to call Sean at Berrybrooks on Friday and ask him if we could hire us the engine until the end of the season. Fortunatley for us Sean was great and didn't want to see Steve sell his engine either so we struck a deal.
Our window of opportunity to increase the order book before production commences is small. With material ordering and production starting soon it actually worked out better to hire it, assisting both the design and hopefully the sales on the stand rather than part with a large sum of cash.
Once the deal was done i let Steve know. This then took a bit of weight of his shoulders meaning he only had to sell his engine for himself and any of the projects he wanted to complete. There was no pressure from the business side as we then had what we needed.
Steve then promptly withdrew his engine from auction and lived happily ever after!
