to answer some questions from the last topic...
4inch foden boilers are on the machine now, after that they just need pressure testing.
i believe that all our boilers now have dummy "man holes".
yes we are now working on the 6inch foden kit28 !!!!
OK, the photos...
the last of the 6inch foden brake kit parts...
the machine shop is now working on the 6inch kit 28, first off the lube boxes...
lube brackets...
lube lids...
and the massive safety valve bases...
with a large order of laser cuts arriving we have 2inch burrell rear wheel rims...
and showman's spectacle plates...
and some showman's rear wheels...

Well we got ours steaming yesterday with only a few minor problems!
We were also clocked sitting quite comfortably at 10mph

That looks amazing! Well done guys
Any news on the next 4.5" Foden kits yet? Haven't seen anything for a few months we are in the later group nearing the end of the build.

Re: July, August, September Production photos...
Hi,
I'm pushing to try and get Kit 23 of the Foden 4.5" out this week. Only another half a dozen turned jobs to do and then waiting delivery of some laser cuts we have on order so it it could be tight but is possible. Worse case scenario is it will be early next week.
Regards
Dean

Re: July, August, September Production photos...
Whistle Base, Water Lifter, Mudguards and brackets, Cab Floor, Parking brake parts. Too many bits too mention them all as about 2 1/2 pages on the packing list.
Just spoken to laser cutters and they will be here Friday all being well so likely to be middle of next week rather than early part unfortunately. Everything from the machining perspective will be ready by the time they arrive just to complete the fabrication assemblies, box and ship.

Re: July, August, September Production photos...
Hi Adam,
Sorry no news. The production folder has been issued and materials ordered but it's not been started yet as there are still 3 other models in front of it on the priority list. Kit 23 of the 4.5" Foden hopefully should be leaving today which crosses one of them off the list.
One of us will update you further as soon as we have further info.
Regards
Dean
