road registration
Hi all,
just recieved a letter from the DVLA , got my vin number to stamp on engine
so thats good but they want a copy of the engines insurance which I dont have as
it doesnt have a steam ticket.
would I be right in thinking to just tell them I intend to sorn it straight away
until I get the steam test passed.
what have others done in this situation?
Thanks

Re: road registration
You do not need a steam test for the insurance, I insured my engine last year just to get theft cover and I included road cover as well. With this cover I was able to get a registration number and it is taxed until November this year. Still have to do the hydraulic and steam test have these booked for two weeks time.
