some progress of mine
got the wheels finished and etch primered while I was at it painted the axle and perch bracket in primer so stop it from rusting
got the chimney and smokebox kit and built up the chimney on the first night of having it, going to be having the chimney cap flush as the chimney tube itself isn't very straight/flat at the top just means ill have to clean it more often
sorry for no recent updates been busy with work, college and other bits and pieces hopefully will keep it more regular depending on kits

Re: Agricultural Burrell 4"
Coming on nicely.
Good to see a Kitchen/Lounge builder , just goes to show you dont need a flash workshop to do it in.

Re: Agricultural Burrell 4"
Hehe cheers main reason why its inside is because shed isnt big enough but yea it is possible, it is better with a shed or garage with the room its taking up.

Re: Agricultural Burrell 4"
[img][/img]
got some high build undercoat on the wheels, looks bit iffy due to some parts drying quicker than others
[img][/img]
got the tender built up with the temp bolts, also bolted on the beading to make sure it was all good
[img][/img]
hope the quality isn't to bad but took this on my phone, got a few rivets in the same night I built up the tender
[img][/img]
[img][/img]
[img][/img]
got my first coat of top coat on the wheels, not really overly impressed with the finish but will rub it back and will build up the coats and try and get it all smooth and lovlery
[img][/img]
got a second top coat on the axle reallyyy impressed with it looks really nice, dont userally blow my trumpet but really pleased how its turned out
[img][/img]
put this all together to see what it looked like after being painted, not pleased with finish but I know for a fact itll burn off so not worrying to much

Re: Agricultural Burrell 4"
done the first modification to the axle kit ive drilled out and put a grease nipple on it
" />
recently got my rear wheel kit so got the rim cleaned down and got the wheel built up
" />
I didn't get a lot of photos of building up the wheel as I just cracked on and got it done
" />
have been at strumpshaw steam rally over the bank holiday weekend got some tips of my mate on painting and got the chance like useral to have a play with both engines in the picture
