Hi can anyone tell me the best place to buy pin strip masking tape cheers

Uk pinstriping do it. Also finess tape is good.

thanks lynn found site there is so many combinations of sizes head hurts now just want two strips not as easy as I thought to many decisions

The gold line spacing can be ignored for a non showman's engine: this would simply be black. Most engines had a black border next to edges, boiler bands etc., as it was easier to repair any chips in black paint and also easier to keep clean. Better to always go slightly under on tape sizes than the true dimension given as the paint tends to spread slightly; the same also applying to the use of pin striping wheels.

I used F-25 on my Foden which is 2.38-1.58-1.58. Its available from Craftmaster and a lot of the car customising sites.

Looks very nice Mike, but these are not the proportions used by Burrells in their normal lining scheme.
