Foden SWB Kit 1 has landed Empty Foden SWB Kit 1 has landed

And were off kit 1 has turned up to day and been checked through and paid, have loosely assembled to see what needs tweaking so can't wait for the weekend when we will start in ernest and also hopefully snap some pics. From the quick trial assembly looks like we will need to turn down the heads on the countersunk socket screws for the rear and mid cross members as they are fouling each other when being tightened down. Also if any previous builders are reading is the mid cross member meant to sit a few millimetres below the chassis rails.

Cheers
Ken & Nick

Hi Guys
I can confirm that the cross member does sit a little below the rails. I have attached a pic of how mine looked.

I also had problems with the countersunk screws.

I just reduced the diameter of the heads slightly.

All the best with your build and hope you enjoy it as much as I did
