Steamy Prom Night!!!
Hi All
I just wanted to share this with all the folks on here who know us and for those who don't but have got daughters!!
Last week my daughter had her school prom night after finishing school the week before. She had always wanted a traction engine for her prom since becoming a Steam Apprentice and through the generous help of a friend in the steam movemeent up here in Lancashire, Anthony Cowell, she got her dream - complete with gown, 5" heels and 5 hours of pampering from which she scrubbed up beautifully and made me realise how grown up she is now.
The local paper were at the venue too and she ended up in the Saturday edition much to her embarrasment

Re: Steamy Prom Night!!!
Very Nice!
We did not have proms in our chuck out from school days. They do appear to be a case of one-up-man-ship these days unfortunately. But a historic engine is hot!

Re: Steamy Prom Night!!!
They both look wonderful.
The prom scene down here in Leicestershire is very big with a prom dress shop in the village and loads of stretch limos but a traction I have not seen here. I have had several requests to take people in the Cobra, there is always huge selection of interesting cars, up at the school on prom night.
