Whoa, I'm still trying to get through the last two kits Surprised

Moving house sometime in July now as well, where will I find the time to finish. I need to get Blackbeard's reer wheels back on with the winding drum and the gear guard then I can move him to his new home!!!

IT DOES LOOK GOOD THOUGH - AND HEAVY, HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGHT DEAN??

No idea of the weight and as it's now fitted and we are off to Holland tomorrow with the engine, i'm not removing it to find out Very Happy. It does make turning the crank over a whole lot easier though! Laughing

Does "sample" also include delivery of the rest for stock?? Or do you have an idea of the lead time if not? Not that we're impatient or anything.... theres only 16 weeks of the rather short and sporadic english summer left sunny sunny That does however look very sexy and finishes the engine a treat!!
It also makes the wait even more difficult Evil or Very Mad Am I right in thinking I can spy the casting for the gear change in there too??

Great to see it fits with the rear wheel. On ex-mayor the inside tread of the tire has been cut away to give clearance. Not sure how it been done, but I think this will look much better and I was not looking forward to making it fit. cheers

Now to learn how to paint the line round the flywheel so when it spins it's not all over th place Very Happy

I spy with my little eye.......the sample flywheel!!!! Empty Flywheel paint!

Post  Tony King Fri 08 Jun 2012, 11:59 am

Yah, I've been thinking about how to get that perfect "unwoberly" set of lines on the flywheel.......... I reckon it'll have to be done on the engine so you can turn the crank, while the paint is applied some how, from a fixed point, like a jig fixed to the wheel......... I think Lynn's sugestion of cosuming lotsa beer to help you relax may be better drunk after the lines are on drunken

Tony
